Here are just a handful of reasons to include more berries in your diet;

BLUEBERRIES - to prevent aging

Eating blueberries helps to reverse the signs of aging. A superfood, blueberries are rich in antioxidants. In fact a cup of wild blueberries can contain up to 13,427 antioxidants, including Vitamin A and C, as well as flavonoids. Antioxidants react with free radicals and prevent them from causing damage.

RASPBERRIES - to heal eczema

Raspberries are such a delicious, summer fruit. As per traditional folk medicine, the berries are often prescribed to treat conditions like eczema. Due to their anti-inflammatory properties, raspberry seed oil can help treat skin conditions like eczema, in addition to rashes and other skin lesions

BLACKBERRIES - to cure cold sores

Sometimes, the health benefits of blackberries truly delve skin deep. An extract of the blackberry fruit protects the skin from UVB damage through antioxidant activity. The vitamin C found in blackberries also helps keep skin healthy and strong. It promotes collagen production, decreases the instance of dry skin and may even prevent premature aging of the skin.

Skin health isn’t all about preventing wrinkles, though. The nutrients in blackberries also have an antiviral effect on infections affecting the skin, specifically the herpes virus responsible for cold sores.
